Caring For Our Bays 2017-2018 Report

The Caring For Our Bays program includes a litter audit component completed by volunteers and organisations. Every month our volunteers conduct litter audits at over 14 litter 'hotspots' around Geelong and the Bellarine. A report covering all litter collected between July 2017 and June 2018 was constructed to showcase the programs success. 

• Over 18,000 items of litter was collected during this period of time. 
• Volunteers contributed over 250 hours of their time.
• At the majority of hotspots, litter is decreasing.
